QS World University Rankings 2022

Updated: Jun 17, 2023

The much anticipated QS World University Rankings 2022 are here!

With 1,300 universities representing all four corners of the globe, this year’s list is among the largest and most comprehensive since the QS World University Rankings were first established in 2004.

To arrive at its results and to ensure consistency and accuracy, QS uses a methodological framework of six metrics to measure university performance. The six metrics, as well as the weight each carries, are as follows:

  1. Academic Reputation (40%)

  2. Employer Reputation (10%)

  3. Faculty/Student Ratio (20%)

  4. Citations per faculty (20%)

  5. International Faculty Ratio (5%)

  6. International Student Ratio (5%)
